I'm trying to do some command line interaction but am having authentication problems.

I think this stems from being unable to login to the simias server at https://myfqdn/simias10. When I access that URL I get a username/password dialog box but my Admin credentials don't work. I'm using LDAP for authentication FWIW.

This means that when I try this;

mono /usr/lib/simias/bin/UserCmd.exe list --url https://myfqdn/simias10 --admin-name myadminname --admin-password myadminpassword I get an invalid admin credentials message.

What I find confusing is that I CAN login with those credentials at https://myfqdn/admin and indeed https://myfqdn/ifolder. The client software (on windows) also works fine.

When I look in my simias logs, I see the following errors.

2010-12-08 19:28:04,666 [-1329693840] ERROR Simias.OpenLdapProvider.User - LdapError:
2010-12-08 19:28:04,666 [-1329693840] ERROR Simias.OpenLdapProvider.User - Error:Invalid Credentials
2010-12-08 19:28:04,666 [-1329693840] ERROR Simias.OpenLdapProvider.User - DN:cn=myadminname,dc=xxxxxxxxxx,dc=com
2010-12-08 19:28:04,703 [-1329693840] INFO Simias.Server.Authentication - InvalidCredentials : myadminname

This is odd since exactly the same credentials work on /admin

The server certificate is self signed.

I can't figure out where the problem lies? Any ideas??
