Hey everyone in the Novell Forums,

We are relocating our ZCM system to another site and will need to retire the original Primary server which is the CA for the system.

I have been searching and searching on information on how to do this but have only found part of the puzzle i believe. I can see that you can export the certificates and reimport them on another server but I believe that this only works on servers with the same DNS name which wont work for us. I have also seen how to create a new certificate in the instance where you are renaming the server but also doesn't seem to be the same issue unless we physically relocate the existing CA primary server to the new location.

Can anyone shed some light on moving the CA role to another Primary server?
