In order to proceed with backups and other nightly maintenance. We have put in time restrictions on most users on our Netware 6, SP5 server and have also disabled Auto reconnect on the client side (4.91 SP5 using IPX protocol).

This works fine as the connections for users that don't logout before leaving are terminated. But what I find strange is that some of those users manage to access files from the server without having to log back in.

They have icons on their desktops that access batch files located on the server to start applications. When they click those icons, the applications start and then access the data without problems. They do seem to encounter problems whenever they try to print or write to the data files.

Any thoughts on how to prevent all accesses when the users are not logged in?
