I have a few phones running Win Mobile 6.1 and 6.5.

We're using the built-in SSL cert on our Mobility servers. This works fine for iPhones and Android phones, as all you have to do is click "disable verification" or "ignore certificate" when prompted during the initial device registration. WM 6+ though, apparently does not give you the option of ignoring an non-registered certificate.

Does anyone know of a way to disable certificate validation on WM 6+?

I know the answer I'm going to get from some of you is, "Just pay for a cert and install it on the Mobility server", but I'm looking for work arounds so we don't have to do that.

I appreciate your time.
