Failed Install of Novell Client 4.91 SP5 for Windows
We recently did a massive uninstall of 4.91 (sp lower then 5) and then did a install using the acu install process. It went wonderfully, but now we are seeing successful installs suddenly come up with "Failed Install of Novell Client 4.91 SP5 for Windows" in the blue bar of the Client Login Window.
For the most part, it doesn't seem to really be effecting anything (on most of the computers), but we have found that on some where they take an incredible amount of time to log in, or can't find the tree unless we specify a server or they don't make all their network drive mappings - that a reinstall of the client seems to help.
We are using both Netware 6.5 and Sles10sp2/Oes2/3 as well as Windows
All our Workstations are WinXP sp3
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
