Hi there,

Using SLES10.3, OES2, Zen 10.3.

I am trying to get pxe/preboot functioning.
Workstations are configured to connect to preboot server.
DHCP server is configured for pxelinux.0 preboot file. I don't use my SLES server for DHCP.

My workstations would boot initially but then get this message:
> TFTP prefix:
> Trying to load: z_main100.cfg
> Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/01-11-13-3a-cb-00-b1
> Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/A81EC5D8
> Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/A81EC5D
> Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/A81EC5
> Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/A81EC
> Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/A81E
> Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/A81
> Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/A8
> Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/A
> Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/default
> Unable to locate configuration file
> Boot failed: press a key to retry, or wait for reset...

So, after some reading I discovered I must configure and setup a pxelinux.cfg folder and a default file. So I went ahead, and during that I discovered that TFTP was not installed on my server.
So, while installing it, it gave me the error: "This module can only use xinetd to set up TFTP. However, another program is serving TFTP: novell-tftpd."

So, now I am confused. What am I missing? Am I supposed to use "Novell-tftpd" or must I unload that and use the TFTP I got from my SLES10 dvd?

ANY help would be much appreciated as I am really struggling to understand the initial steps.
