Event ID 1530 / User Profile Service
don’t know, if I’m really right here, but let me try:
We’ve got a bundle with the following steps:
1) map a network drive for the DAU
2) run a setup.exe with parameters from the mapped drive as DAU
The setup routine will install up to 8 program parts.
In 90% of the installations, it aborts on the same program part. In 10% it all works fine.
In the application event log I see Event ID 1530. “Windows detected your registry file is still in use by other applications or services. The file will be unloaded now. The applications or services that hold your registry file may not function properly afterwards.” (see also Event ID: 1530 may be logged in the Application log on a Windows 7-based or Windows Vista-based client computer)
Problem there: It is unloads the Registry hive of the DAU!!
The next event is the abort of the installation, because it can’t access the registry of the current user (the DAU). ň_Ó
I was thinking about stopping the profile service while installation, but you can’t do that.
Has anyone ever had this or a problem like that? I'm out of ideas...
The environment: ZCM 10.3.2 (but happened also on 10.3.1 and 11RC3), Win7 Client x86.
