We recently converted from Netware to Linux (OES2SP2). Our post office's are now on the EXT3 file system and we use Syncsort BEX as our backup vendor. I also have enabled the GWTSA in the smdrd.conf file with a "autoload: tsafs --EnableGW".

I've been seeing some unusual errors in my backup logs, and I get the feeling the TSA only works on an NSS file system. It seems like people in similar situations are using CRON to do a DBCOPY and then backing up the copy. Does the TSA only work on NSS volumes?
