In speaking with the helpdesk they have been encountering a number of instances (3-4 per week) in which users have called to say they cannot login to their systems and have been locked out. The Windows GPO policy locks out an account for 30 min following 10 invalid attempts.

Most of the client systems are Windows 7 machines running Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows 7 (IR5 and IR4). Very odd behavior which I have yet to pinpoint the cause and effect. Currently as unlikely as this may sound, I'm looking into installed keyboards (Canadian Multilingual / US) and the effect changes have on the Novell Client / eDir during password changes, or logins in general.

Has anyone else experienced any odd behaviour? I assumed the first few times that the issue was between the keyboard and chair, but I am now convinced that is not the case.
