I have an issue where a client can use the "send as" functionality despite the users have no proxy access to the mailbox of anyone else. ie. In the "from" field in compose an email on the Windows client, one can type the name of anyone else in the Groupwise address book, and the email is sent as the correct user with the selected Groupwise users name is brackets. If the mail is sent to an internet address (ie externally) only the correct users address appears. I have never noticed this behavior in all the years I have used Groupwise (I knew it was possible if one had proxy access to another's mailbox, but not just by typing the users name of anyone from the GW address book in the From field), so I am wondering if this is working by design, or is it a client bug? The client is currently running GW Client v8.02
