Hi I'm trying to set up a remote acces for external users to our
office
network. Our internet connection is by 2M cable, the cable modem
attaches to
a router which uses NAT , Our bordermanager servers public NIC
connects to
the router. We are using bordermanager 3.7 and have also configuerd
web
access to Groupwise which works well. When I try to connect vis
dial-up we
see the Bordermanager server and it does connect but will not login.
If
disable the network login we do get a connection, which diconnects
after
about 30 seconds but I cannot ping any addresses on our network. If I
check
the staus of the connection it appears we are not receiving any
encrypted
packets from the network.

I have read various items which seem to have similar issues but what I
need
to know is will this configuration work, as I've read that VPN won't
work
with the Server behind a NAT router.

Regards

John Bell
