Hello all,

We are running GW 801 on Windows 2003 and have noticed the system slowing down
over time. The servers mem and cpu are not being taxed at all which leads me to the
disk access times. The database's are clean so the only thing I can think of to increase
performance is to look at fragmentation. Looking at the defrag results all of the most
fragmented files are msgxxx.db files. My understanding is that you can't defrag a live
GW database so I would need to shutdown the GW PO to do this. However I can not
have this PO down for the several hours that a defrag would take. Is there a way to do
this live? If not is there a way to defrag the files individually so I could down it for an
hour here and an hour there until its all defragmented?

Any info is greatly appreciated!
