On our computers with both GW8 and IE9 installed, users are getting alerts on every email saying that "GroupWise has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer". I'm fine with the fact that ActiveX is blocked. However, this warning message is new and scary for users. We didn't see this constant warning with IE8 or prior versions, just with the rollout of IE9. Could ActiveX be blocked silently? If I'm understand this right, GW is designed to block all ActiveX controls without exception, and this can't be changed, so why do we need the warning?
