I have been expanding NSS volumes on the fly for years with NetWare/EMC. While testing my new Linux/OES GroupWise Cluster I noticed that I was unable to expand on the fly.

Disk configuration:

In the past I would increase the size of the EMC LUN, rescan the scsi bus, and Netware would see that I have more space that could be added to the pool.

With Linux/OES it seems that a rescan of the scsi bus or refresh in nssmu does not see the additional space . I ran the evmsgui and it didn't see the space either? Am I missing a command that refreshes the devices to see that the disk expanded?

Note: I was able to expand on the fly by adding a lun then performing a rescan, and then adding the lun to the pool. I don't know it I like this method.
