Hello all, encountered a weird what I believe is cosmetic error, in regards to OES2 linux and iprint. We have all 31 of our schools on Sles 10 OES2 SP2, and iprint. Recently, I re-started iprint on one of our schools servers I had reboot. It would run for what looked like 5 minutes, but then imanager would say it was off...I would restart it, same thing....one time, when it was down, I saw a user send a print job...and it worked, so I knew iprint was running..so I looked from the command line on the server, and sure enough it said the iprint, print manager was up...but sure enough, imanager said it was down...so we knew it was cosmetic at that point... so we looked at the logs:

/var/opt/novell/log/iprint, and here is what we saw:

It seems this is causing imanager to think its down, when it is NOT...I think its this line:

May 26 10:18:38 WARNING The print manager (18583) received signal: 17 from process (18626) running with uid (107).

Anyone see this before?
