I "moved to trash" a bunch of folders/files from my SuSE Linux server using a gnome session. These folders/files are now in a folder named ".trash-root" at the root of the volume they were "moved to trash" from. How do I delete them from this folder? When I try and delete from this .trash-root I get "xxx.file cannot be deleted because you do not have permissions to modify its parent folder" I am logged in as root user. How do I get rid of these files in the .trash-root folder?

Thank you for any assistance.
