Hi Guys,

Here is my situation:

I have a debian server running iFolder on it.
It has only a local IP: and it's DNS name is ifolder.mylan.com.
I can successfully connect to it from anywhere in my lan.

Now I need this server to be accessible from outside.
As I have a public static IP on the router, i have forwarded the 443 port and I can login from outside with https://ifolder.mywan.com

My issue is that the only DNS name available is mywan.com, which is different from the LAN. (AD 2003).

I guess I need to create a pointer in the local DNS server to point ifolder.mywan.com to its local IP, so then the connection uses the local IP address from the LAN, and the public IP from the outside.

Is this possible?

Thanks for your help
