Unfortunately our main business application has a big performance boost
if run against a Windows 2008R2 file server compared to an OES2SP3
server. The differences between real Windows and Novell Cifs or Novell
Samba are tremendous and between real Windows and NCP are noticeable.

As I already have a DSfW server in place the easiest thing would be to
add the Windows server as member server and use it just for file
serving. Or I could migrate the DSfW domain to the Windows server and
run the Windows Domain in native mode synced to eDir via IDM.

What would you do?
