With the newer HP UPD offerings, I remember it was necessary to install the
driver locally on WinXP and then perform an Add from System to upload the
driver to iPrint as opposed to Add from File (something about dynamic vs
traditional install). I need to update to the new UPD version becasue of a
PDF print problem-last line of the document gets cut off. (Already tested
the new version and it prints these PDF's fine.) However, I followed the
same procedure to upload the driver as in the past, but when I try to Add
from System, the driver I installed locally is not in the list. (It does
show in the list if I try to add a Windows printer). Anyone else do this
recently or remember something that I am forgetting (should have made better
notes I guess). Thanks.
