Well, technically on NSS, the basic file systems tructure is the pool, not
the volume. The volume is just a logical entity in the pool. It is not a
fixed region within the pool, but rather it may be spread all across the

Anyway, here is how you could proceed:

- use the Novell consolidation and migration wizard to copy the data to a
new volume. As the first copy will take a lot of time, you do it while the
users continue to work. Once your data is all copied, just do a delta copy
while users are not working. If you use date filters, the delta copy will
be very fast.
