    Setting up Patch Management

I have started our Subscription Service today on ZCM 11.

The bundle that gets deployed (Discover Applicable Updates Windows-x86-en-XPsp3) is failing on all devices on the network. The following is the error:

Full Message: Failed to process action: Unexpected EOF
    Additional Information: None
    Severity: Error
    Date: August 18, 2011 6:59:01 PM
    Acknowledged Date: None
    Source: /Devices/Workstations/AJHS/ajhs14f
    Message ID: ActionMan.FailureProcessingActionException
    Probable Cause URL: None
    Log ID: ee68267bb71fb8dcfb3179486d28bb9b
Related Objects: /Bundles/ZPM/DAU/Discover Applicable Updates Windows-x86-en-XPsp3

I am obviously new to Patch Management and assume that I have missed a step. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Adamjacobs,

I would suggest applying http://download.novell.com/Download?...d=4W5wYqV3RLE~ before we start any troubleshooting...

Is it possible to run the "Discover Applicable Updates Windows-x86-en-XPsp3" Manual ?
For patching test purposes. I've disabled the bundle the last 2 years because i had no "DAU schedule" .... i'm able to upgrade next month, but want to test patching a workstation.
Do i have to assign it to the device manual? (maybe it will be overwritten tomorrow,) but ok "manual!!!".

yes, just change the assignment type. As you say it will be overwritten
"tomorrow" (or if "update now" is clicked).
