My University finally implemented the mobility server to allow smart phone users to access email, contacts, and calenders. However, I can never access emails that are stored in my folders. I have tested on iOS, multiple android phones, third-party android Exchange apps, and webOS. I asked the tech team I got this sort of response.

"It's not supposed to allow you to access all your emails."
"It's just there for quick send and receive tasks."
"The server can't handle remembering the emails stored in your folders."

My understanding of ActiveSync is that it is supposed to allow mobile devices to access the same information that could be accessed from the desktop. The tech team at my University doesn't seem to think so.

Any thoughts on this? If using the mobility pack, should I have access to old emails in multiple folders, or am I asking to much?
