Hi folks,

while in progress to migrate the last NW65SP8 Severs to OES2 (SLES) I had to provide bash capabilities under netware for scripting purposes. So I've loaded bash and tested some scripts (which will call *ncf's and *nlm's). One faulty script causes the bash to become unresponding. Ok, unload bash should do the trick - but it didn't work as expected. bash.nlm was unloaded, but the bash screen won't disappear. Further investigations lead to to some modules loaded at the corresponding time into address_space2(3). The (3) maybe the abend count? What makes me silly are the differences between NORM, puitty and netware console regarding the address spaces and that I'm not able to clean up or unload the address space.

Console:
======
SRVNWCL1N2:protection address_space2(3)
Address Space "ADDRESS_SPACE2(3)":
CLIB.NLM
(Legacy) Standard C Runtime Library for NLMs
NIT.NLM

Novell NCP Requestor for NLMs
THREADS.NLM
Novell Threads Package for NLMs
LIBC.NLM

USERLIB.NLM

Ok, try to unload

SRVNWCL1N2:unload clib address space = address_space2(3)
Address space ADDRESS_SPACE2(3) is not an unloadable address space.

SRVNWCL1N2:unload clib address space = address_space2
no reaction, nothing happens.

SRVNWCL1N2:unload kill address space = adress_space2
SRVNWCL1N2:unload kill address space = adress_space2 (3)

Nothingh at all

Any hints how to clean up this confused situation without rebooting the server will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
