We use SolidWorks and DBworks in our CAD office. DBWorks starts a utility for importing of MI-Files. That small utility (DBWDXFDWG.EXE from CoCreate / Parametric Technology) converts MI-files to DWG or DXF files.
Since we have migrated from xp to windows 7 we experience a problem if the source and destination file lies on a mapped Netware network drive. The program reads the source file from network drive Q: and writes the converted file to the same directory on drive Q: The DBWDXFDWG itself does not generate any error, even 100% success, but the new created file has a size of only 0 Byte. ( I have admin rights on Q:)
There are no problems running the conversion on a local drive or on a Microsoft share.
So we suspect the cause in the Netware Client 2. Running Sysmon.exe in the background shows a access violation problem. I tried different versions of the Netware Client 2 and disabled cache and enabled the file commit.

Is there any other parameter or switch which we could try to change? Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
