We had to take Storage Manager offline (shut down the engine service) for a few weeks to troubleshoot a condition of H: drives being deleted. We determined the problem was not being caused by Storage Manager.

Now I've started the engine service, but it is not allowing me to get it's status or Pending Events in NSMAdmin. I'm not sure if there is an event stuck that is causing the problem. If I click on Engine Status or Pending Events eventually I get a "Client could not communicate with Engine" error. Any advice on how to resolve this problem?

I've restarted the Engine, Event servers, and the host server for the engine.
