Hi Guys,

Is it possible to change the default ldap ports that iFolder uses? The reason I ask is we have an iFolder server in the office, and plan to configure it to use a remote eDirectory box to get its authentication information from. The remote box doesnt have 636 or 389 exposed externally on the firewall, and I would like to keep it that way. I would like to connect to this through an alternative port; say for example 73636 or some other random port, which in turn would be nat'd on the remote server network to resolve to 636 and request sent to the eDir box. I have other LDAP utilities which work in a simillar way and it would be really neat if we could configure iFolder to do this.

I had a look at the iFolder admin page settings for ldap but cannot see where to specify a port number, also had a look at the iFolderLdapUserUpdate.sh script but have had no luck. Hopefully one of you guys can point me in the right direction.

iFolder version: iFolder 3.8
