All our PCs have a mapped drive to a simple shared folder on a Windows server (not a domain).

With XP and the change password button that shows on the CTRL+ALT+DEL option screen our users could always change their own passwords on the server that had our shared folder.

The way that change password worked we let our users manage their own passwords on every server they use. Absolutely so awesome it became indispensable. But like every other indispensable thing in the client it does not work in Windows 7 or was removed.

Now in Windows 7 under CTRL+ALT+DEL password options we only have the Novell server & when you go through the N icon by the clock you can see all the connections you can change passwords for but it does not work for the shared server.
