I have the day shift. We have several fax machines and one of them is pounding out sheet after sheet of paper. When it's done, I go and I have a 23 page document concerning the purchase of a house and insurance therefore. Names, account numbers, income, SSN, EVERYTHING I could use to clean out a couple of some $400,000 from their bank. Not to mention what it would do to their lives.

I called the sender of the fax and told them of the mistake and who I thought the fax should have gone to, since everyone was listed with fax machines and such.

I told them I would shred the document and forget everything, but mentioned that fax numbers should be verified.

A very loud sigh and thank you was heard from the office person. WOW....
