Hello everyone,
i am in progress to upgrade our cluster from Netware to OES2 linux. We have 2-node cluster, and external signed certificates used for Apache and Netstorage only. Lets say nodes are named N1 and N2. I removed node N2 from edirectory. This action deleted all N2 certificates from eDirectory too. OK, i have backup PFX file. I used this PFX file and TID 10097841 10097841: How to use eDirectory SSL certificates for Apache2 on SLES OES
Everything looked working fine, but when i restarted the node the certificate files located in /etc/ssl/servercerts were replaced by original files. I have found this in /var/log/apache2/error_log:
Code:
[Sun Nov 20 12:01:36 2011] [warn] RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `n1.domain.com' does NOT match server name!?
[Sun Nov 20 12:01:37 2011] [notice] Apache/2.2.3 (Linux/SUSE) configured -- resuming normal operations
Host is not null. Updating the host node.
[Sun Nov 20 12:26:59 2011] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down
[Sun Nov 20 12:29:11 2011] [notice] suEXEC mechanism enabled (wrapper: /usr/sbin/suexec2)
[Sun Nov 20 12:29:11 2011] [warn] module rewrite_module is already loaded, skipping

[Sun Nov 20 12:29:11 2011] [notice] Apache/2.2.3 (Linux/SUSE) configured -- resuming normal operations
Why is complaining for server N1, when i am sure, that i used N2 PFX backup? Why is the certificate replaced during OS startup? I am not familiar with certificates. Help me please.
