GWIA SSL Intermediate Cert Restart Glitch
Here’s a bizarre one…
I’ve got two 8.0.2 HP3 GWIAs running on OES2SP3 boxes that use commercial SSL certs having intermediate certs. When either GWIA restarts itself, such as due to any config change in C1, the GWIA sends SSL clients a certificate chain containing an extra copy of the intermediate certs. Each subsequent self-restart appends another extra copy. Manually restarting the GWIA fixes it. These duplicate certs confuse some but not all clients. I know at least some Android devices are unable to connect when it happens.
Is anyone able to duplicate this, or perhaps have seen it before? I have an open SR on it.
