Just curious,

Is it standard practice to Set File Caching (Novell Client Properties - Advanced Tab - File Caching) to off?

I have started rolling out Win7 machine and have seen seemingly odd behavior I think attributable to this. My XP machines have had no troubles what so ever but they are rolled out from an image and I seem to recall playing with these settings (File Caching and was it File Commit too?)

So, I wonder is is standard practice that after installing the Client for Win7 (sp1 or sp2, doesn't matter) do you then/should we then/ go in a set the settings to off?

Do you do it for both File Caching AND File Commit

(the odd behavior is Blue Screens, and some new machines but not others, GroupWise 8 crashes, bad behavior for an Access database across the LAN)
