Hope someone can lend some insight

This is all in preparation to move servers to a new Array first and then migrate to OES

We have Qlogic switches (Sanbox2 and 5800) and qlogic cards (2340, 2460 and )
Xiotech 3D, IBM Fast-T and an new EMC/VNX storage arrays

we've given storage to the Netware servers (6.5SP8) original boxes with 2340 cards - kept getting unbound devices - clustered server - cluster disabled temporary on this one node. We've setup a spare stand alone Netware 6.5SP8 server with a 2460 card and it can see the EMC/VNX fine and is in fact booting off of it with a 2nd data volume

They are both using the QLA 2x00 driver 7.00d version
They are both zoned identically on the fabric
There is only 1 single port card in each server
The newer server is a Dell 1950 with 2460 and it can see 4 paths
the older server is an IBM X335 with 2340 and it can see only 1 of the two VNX controllers and only 2 paths.

startup.ncf contents
-------------------------------
SET MULTI-PATH SUPPORT = ON
LOAD ACPIDRV.PSM
######## End PSM Drivers ########
LOAD IDECD.CDM
LOAD SCSIHD.CDM /AEN
######## End CDM Drivers ########
LOAD IDEATA.HAM SLOT=10022
LOAD LSIMPTNW.HAM SLOT=10024
LOAD QL2X00.HAM SLOT=2 /LUNS /ALLPATHS /PORTNAMES /LUNZERO

tomorrow we're going to put a 2340 into the Dell and give that a test (remove the 2460)
Setting up San Surfer to look at the cards

using the Qlogic CFG.nlm we can get ports and luns listed which all look correct on both server configs
Using the cfg /DH gives some NWPA errors 'failed object info 107' for the unbound devices

Thanks Joe
