I have a few different issues.

ZCM 11.2
Adaptive Agents 10.3, 11.1 and 11.2
Devices are Windows XP and WIN7
Primary on Windows 2003
Sat on XP
Database on Full SQL

First I have serveral (50 or more) windows workstations (XP and Win7) that have crashed. These workstations show as inventoried devices in ZCC. These workstations will not only be imaged but the technician wants to rename these devices because of a bad naming scheme. SO....do I delete the devices from the ZCC, Retire the devices or Just leave them alone.

Second I have serveral buildings that will be reimaging the entire building this summer. When this is done most workstation will be imaged and brought back up and named the same. Should I Retire these devices before they are imaged, Delete these before they are imaged or Just leave them alone.

This may be a deciding factor....We do not Sysprep our images. Non of the images have the Adaptive Agent installed. All workstations are configured completely (workstation name and other configurations) after imaging and prior to installing the Adaptive Agent.

Please let me know if you have any information on these issues, thanks!!
