We are attempting to keep some of our smaller mailboxes under their specific size limit, 50 MB. We have setup a weekly job to Expire/Reduce Messages. In the options, we have selected Reduce mailbox to 40 MB. The thinking is that if someone's mailbox is above 40 MB, this job will reduce the mailbox back down to that size. We have included Received, Sent, Calendar, and Backed Up items. However, we have noticed that we do not receive the notice of the GWCheck being complete and have confirmed that the job isn't reducing the mailboxes.

So now I'm wondering if we must also select one of the additional options, like Items older than. Can someone confirm if additional options must be checked past what we have?
