I installed my first OES2 box last summer and it created an OESCommonProxy user. I am now adding DHCP to the server and it's wanting the password of the Proxyuser to authenticate to LDAP. Well, I've tried a couple of my default passwords and have searched high then low for my notes, but haven't had any luck. So, now I'm thinking I'll have to change the password for the user.

Does anyone know what services will be affected should I change the proxyuser's password?

Would it be better to use the OES installer through YAST to make the changes? Maybe that way the installer will catch the change and apply the new password where it needs to be. If this way is better does anyone know which step of the install process creates the proxyuser?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
