Running: SLES 10 sp4, GW 8.0.2 HP3

I noticed there are quite a few email messages sitting in /tmp on my
servers with poa's running on linux. It looks like it averages about 1
or 2 per day that end up there, and they never get deleted so there are
a lot in there. The files are in standard email text format, so
looking at the contents of any of them, they look just like looking at
the source of an email with the headers, body, and base64 encoded
attachments. The filenames are all in the format of 8 hex characters
then a .000

Are these problem emails that never got sent/received? What's the
reason for their existence? Can I delete them?
