I am in a public school district and have just set up a new OES11 server. In about a week I need to set up approximately 5,000 student accounts in different contexts, different groups, their grade value added to the Department field, etc. This server is only to hold their home directories.

I see how to set them up one at a time with iManager, but for this many students, the year would be over before I got them all in. The namuseradd utility doesn't seem to have the ability to do anything other than Linux users.

I have a custom application that will set up all the users, but it is hard coded to put the home directories on a Netware server.

What I'm looking for is a way of either updating the Home_Directroy setting for bulk users, or for setting up eDirectory users from scratch.
