Hello,

I have a piece of software that needs admin rights to update itself. The computers are Windows 7 with UAC turned on. The Zenworks agent is 11.1a. All of the users are non-admin. The installer can't run silently... It also has to be installed from a Windows share. I've tried a few different things have kinda have the updater limping along. I'm just wondering if anyone else had to do this and what they did.

This is what I'm doing that seems to work:
1. Create a local admin by sending the net command via Zenworks using secure system.
2. Run a vbs file that launches a batch file as the newly created local admin. The script is launched as logged in user. This will open the installer in the user's workspace.
3. Delete the local admin by sending the net command via Zenworks using secure system.

I would use secure system/dynamic local admin options in ZCC but since the installer requires user interaction, it won't work.
