I'm not sure if that is what it is called, but basically the CIO is
asking for WebAccess to let him stay logged in if he goes to a different
page and then comes back.
The example I was given was gmail and outlook.com - if you log into
these webmail sites then browse to another page and come back you are
still logged in.
With our webaccess page if you login using the "this is a private
computer" option, then open a new tab in the same browser and type in
the same URL as the first tab, it will ask you to login again. You can
go back to the first tab and browse your mailbox and send email, but if
you close that tab, you have to login again.
I turned off the IP address requirement, but apparently the cookie is
not enough to do this.
Am I missing a setting or is this the way it works?
