I'm taking a wild shot on this being a likely place to post this sort of question. I have a client
that wants to see if BorderManager has been reveiwed/compared to "appliance"-type firewall
devices such as Cisco PIX, et.al. I rooted around the search engines for a while but didn't locate
too much that was current. I recognize this is a comparison of apples and oranges, and teh TCO
goes up once you add another directory and set of foreign access lists/policies to administer, but
I wonder if there is any sort of comparision available that would do what can be done about
applications like BorderManager versus appliances like PIX. Novell once had a competitive link on
several of their product pages, but it looks like this has fallen out of favor.
