We are running Vibe 3.3, with the app on Win 2003, the indexer on SLES 10sp3, and the database on MS SQL 2008 R2. We want to start using our MS 2008 AD tree instead of eDirectory as our LDAP source.

Is there an easy way to do that? Links?

Any gotcha's to using AD instead of my trusty old eDir, such as problems with Messenger or GroupWise integrations? Anything like that?

I thought I saw a post in the forums here that there wasn't but I can't find it again. If there isn't an easy way to do it, would I just create a new system and then export/import my content over manually and then re-create the teams?

If I do just create a whole new Vibe system, any problems with using a different Db name so I can bring it up on the same SQL server? Or if the new system is called Vibe.domain.com instead of teams.domain.com?

Thanks, any links or experiences would be appreciated. I hope to do my research this week and make the changes next.
