As the subject line says, I've been experiencing a series of issues
where ndsd slowly creeps up in memory usage until it consumes all of the
swap space and then the kernel kills it. At which point, file and
directory services fail, plus everything else (namcd and CIFS are
especially noisy about it).

This is an OES2SP3/SLES10SP4 box with all but the latest apache patch
installed. Server provides NSS/iPrint services. Hardware has 8GB RAM
with a 2GB swap file configured. Backup is SyncSort 3.2 managed from a
Windows box to an LTO4 drive attached to the OES server.

I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can give to stabilize this
