I just put in another SR for a messed up detection of a 32bit program patch
on a 64bit OS. Am I the only one running into this all the time? I think
there is some type of systematic problem with stuff not being learned from
previous SRs. I keep SRing these one at a time which takes a lot of my time
and I am sure the same on the other side.

Here is my latest one:

MS 2598378 Hotfix for Microsoft Excel 2010 (June 26, 2012) (All Languages)
(See Notes) is detected as a required patch on our Win7x64 devices that have
Offiice 2010 32bit installed on them. Patch install comes back with a
remediate 144 error. Looking in systems Application event log I can see ZPM
is trying to install office2010-kb2598378-fullfile-x64-glb.exe when it
should be office2010-kb2598378-fullfile-x32-glb.exe. The version of Office
2010 is 32bit not 64bit. Detection must be using the OS (Winx64) to
determine it should try to install the 64bit patch and not the 32bit one.
