Arkeia backup software

Everything was running fine. I updated the server firmware using the
HP Proliant Service Pack on Apr 10, 2013 and haven't been able to get
a good backup since. Arkeia support says problem with the hardware.
But testing with the HP diagnostics says the hardware is fine. I
checked with HP support and they agree that the hardware is fine but
there are some communication issues. They recommended that I upgrade
the driver. They sent me here:


I attempted to install that, but it failed due to dependencies. So
before I go any further and risk messing something up. Does anyone
have suggestions for this? If I do need to update the driver, is
there another way I am supposed to do it vs using the driver from the
HP website? Or how do I deal with the dependency issues...the only
patching I have done with SLES so far is through the channel.
