## Filters - "Fail the action"

When I set filters on an action, if the requirements aren't met, the action doesn't execute (obviously?)

In the filters dialog, though, there is a separate checkbox for "Fail the action if the requirements fail". Since the filter requirements have to be met for the action to work, I do not understand this checkbox. When I look at the documentation, all it says is

"Select the Fail the action if these requirements fail option to fail the action if these requirements fail."

REALLY!!!! Who wrote that?
Novell Documentation

So, can some more sensible person explain to me exactly what "Fail the action if these requirements fail" means, since it's not selected by default with the filters and yet the filters clearly work to fail the action, without it?

i.e. is this really supposed to be "fail the bundle if these requirements fail"?
