So I have a user out of town with an HTC who broke the screen and cannot remove their DS setup from the phone.

Wanting to get the new phone setup, but when I delete the device in the DS Mobility monitor after a few minutes it returns. Since it is an HTC the kill pill does not work.

What options do I have to replace this users device other than let the broken phone's battery drain and then delete the phone from the Mobility connector?

As an administrator I should be able to delete and create a new one I would think without having to remove the user from the DS server and then adding back, losing all custom settings they may have configured.

Please advise
