Hi all,

I was observing the ZenworksWindowsService process with ProcMon today and noticed it log a series of events where it was trying to access XMl files that don't exist.

Here is the list of the XML files it was trying to access:
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\com.novel l.zenworks.system.variables.xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\ZENWORKS_ HOME.xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\WinSysDir .xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\TEMP.xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\windir.xm l
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\programfi les.xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\programfi les(x86).xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\username. xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\Telephone Number.xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\APP_SETTI NG_ALLOW_LOGOUT_LOGIN.xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\APP_SHOW_ ALL_FOLDER.xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\APP_SETTI NG_ENABLE_AUTO_CLEANUP.xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\APP_SETTI NG_DISPLAY_ICON_ON_DESKTOP.xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\APP_SETTI NG_DISPLAY_APPLICATIONS.xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\APP_SETTI NG_ICON_DISPLAY_NAME.xml
C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\cache\zmd\settings\ENABLE_FO LDER_VIEW.xml

I tried clearing the cache and doing a zac ref bypasscache and it logged the same events.

Zen agent version is 11.2.3.21755

Does anyone know why this would be happening? Or if this could cause a performance issue with the Zen agent since it is trying to access these inaccessible files?

It may mean nothing at all, but I am curious.
