Our environment is server 2008 R2, ZCM 11.2.3a. Clients are Windows 7
SP1 with the 11.2.3a ZAA. Users are local administrators and UAC is

The error message above has always occasionally appeared, but over the
last few weeks it's reached crisis proportions. Reports are around
150-200 computers affected, around 10%.

The Zenworks agent is apparently unwilling or unable to write the
following entries to the registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Novell\ZCM\ZenLgn\Hist ory\Cache\domain.local]
"username"="CN=Users Full Name,CN=Users,DC=domain,DC=local"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Novell\ZCM\ZenLgn\Hist ory\CachedUserZenNames]

If I use a reg file to import correct entries for a user, the user can
log in normally - no reboot required.

zac cc, zac retr, zac unr/reg, even removal and reinstallation of the
ZAA does not help. Until those registry entries are pre-populated the
user can not log in to ZCM, period.

Other users logging into the same workstation are also affected, and the
user can go to a working machine and log in fine.

Permissions on the ZenLgn registry key are inherited from HKLM\Software:
Administrators Full
Users Read

Have disabled anti-virus (Sophos) with no effect...

Any help appreciated - Will even take sympathy
