    rebuild folder structure

Fortunately this is in my test environment.

Wondering if there's any way to rebuild my primary domain folder
    structure from the secondary domain.

I incorrectly updated a server with my primary domain and post office
from sles11sp2 to sles11sp3 via booting from installation media and not
updating oes at the same time. I know............IDIOT!!!!

Anyway, server is running, edir running, nss volumes there, just no
data on the volume with Groupwise on it.

Any suggestions, or am I destined to rebuild my test system from
    scratch?

You should be able to do this from the secondary, assuming the secondary is also
    GW 2014!

    /opt/novell/groupwise/admin/gwadminutil/rebuild -d /path/to/secondary -n
    nameofprimary -o /temp/path/primary/ -cd

so, the -d switch is for your domain database that exists. The -n switch is the
actual name of the primary domain. The -o switch is where you wish to create
the wpdomain.db and the -cd switch will create all of the necessary folders and
even include the .dc files etc.

Now, if your secondary is not GW 2014, I'm not sure if you can recover. But if
so, you would do it in ConsoleOne and do a "replace primary with secondary" -
you'd be back at the older version though if that worked, and then you'd need to
    upgrade the primary.

So my response to DZanre's comment is...

Sweet! Thanks Groupwise Goddess! Although it was:

    /opt/novell/groupwise/admin/gwadminutil rebuild (no / ).

Got MTA running again, now just to recreate the post office
    structure...........sigh.

    Re: rebuild folder structure

    Also, couple other things:

    1. If I try to go into the admin console via this GW domain server,
    the only option is installation.

    2. If I try any maintenance on this domain via the admin console
(connecting to the gwia domain admin service), I get this error:

    javax.ws.rs.WebApplicationException: javax.xml.bind.MarshalException -
    with linked exception: [javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:
    sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed:
    sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderE xception: unable to
find valid certification path to requested target] (null)

    Oh yeah! D'uh

Also, you can recreate the PO from the primary now with the same command - just
put the primary's database path for the -d switch, the full po name (po.domain)
and a location for it with the -cd switch.

You will probably need to recreate your certificates <sigh>. But that can
probably be done by walking through the "upgrade" procedure even though you
    don't need to upgrade.

So my response to DZanre's comment is...

I get an error: Error (DB0A): Record not found when I try this:

    /opt/novell/groupwise/admin/gwadminutil rebuild -d
    /media/nss/MAIL/testmta -n testpoa.testmta -o /media/nss/MAIL/testpoa
    -cd

Do I need to do the certs, etc before trying to rebuild the PO
    structure?

So my response to DZanre's comment is...

So, walking through the upgrade procedure via the admin console, or
'configuring' things again via the sles installer?

Ok, I don't get that error anymore.

Ok, so I had the testpoa.testmta backwards. Got it to run.

Thanks again Groupwise Goddess! <bows humbly>

Now, to make sure everything works and we can get in and add emails,
    appts, etc again.

The admin console. Say you want to "upgrade" - but I think you have that done
    according to your other messages.
