Ran yast update last night to patch a OES 11 SP2 server to the latest. After a reboot, I noticed DHCP and named failed to start. Digging into the logs revealed that they could not contact the LDAP server. Looking at the log for LDAP and it is filled with errors that the commonproxyuser does not have a null password set. If I remove the commonproxy user from the ldap group, ldap starts without issue, but I cannot start DHCP or named. I did notice that our self-signed certs were expired, and was able to re-generate and fix that issue. Is there anyway to re-create the commonproxy user and see if I can get things working again?
